Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

A meaningful place in my life that carries a story is my grandma's house in Ghana, Africa. It was where I grew up during a part of my life, a place all my cousins would come and stay, and enjoy the peace, the smell of good food in the morning, afternoon, and dinner, knowing everyone around the area would not worry about someone hurting you either but the most important part was I got to learn where my parents come from and how it was growing up in ghana.

We read about the Navajo and annotated anything important in the story.

I learned the allusions shown in the story of Noah's Ark, and the First Man and First Woman. The story was about how Earth was created in the hands of divine beings

Today, you learned how to complete a rhetorical analysis planning guide step by step, from identifying the rhetorical situation to analyzing devices and effects. Reflect on one step of the rhetorical analysis process that helped you understand the process more clearly. Explain what you learned during that step and how it improved your ability to analyze a speaker’s message.

Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).
