You are currently working on a soundtrack for selected Emily Dickinson poems. With that in mind, if asked to choose a song to describe your life right now, which song would you select and why? (Sept 5)

 The song I would use to describe my life right now is "Lady Love" by Piero Piccioni. Because it just feels like everything is coming together how I want it to be, like a fairy tale, some of my New Year's resolutions came true, and the song is just a soft, calm, fairy tale vibe. 



Summary: Today, we took our Dickinson quote quiz and then worked on Quote Analysis on illuminatie 


Reflection: The test was kind of okay for the most but I have trouble understanding poems sometimes. I failed, but hopeful on the next quiz, I'll pass with more practice.

 The time I felt like an Interloper was when I went out with my friend to an event, and some people that we always see at school were there too, but it seemed like they were only speaking to my friend instead of both of us. You’ve been in American Literature for 4.5 weeks now. How has the class been going for you so far?

 Class has been okay so far; people don't really engage like that, but I'm the same when it comes to things. The blogs I've been struggling with the most are the ones I've been trying to turn in on time. I still do it just like 1 day late.  Summary:  Read 3 poems by Emily Dickinson about death.  Reflection: The poems were deep and centered around death, so the poems really put you in a position to think about your life.
