Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

I took a break from doing things for other people who wouldn't do the same for me. I took this break because I started to see a pattern that my friends and family would sometimes take advantage of my kindness and use it to benefit themselves only. So I started saying no to things. By doing that, it sort of opened my eyes that its ok to say no sometimes, that doesn't mean that the person will look at you differently.
